Marco Billa

Born in 1972. Started playing the acoustic guitar in 1989 at the age of 16.

1990-1992 Attends Paolo Manzolini's blues and jazz class at the CDPM in Bergamo

1991-1994 Leads the Back-Door blues trio with Dario Toma (bass) and Federico Pagnoncelli (drums)

1995-2000 Lead guitar in the rock-blues group JUNCTION. With Andrea Valietti (voclas) Claudio Bonetalli (bass) and Marco Sacchitella (drums).

2000 Starts learning flamenco guitar with Simon el Rùbio in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz-E)

2004-2015 Attended the advanced flamenco class with M. Livio Gianola in Bergamo and Lecco.

2012 Founds Andaluz flamenco group Italia, with Marco Capoferri (cajòn) and Miguel Almagro Gonzalez (cante).

2012-2020 During the still on activity, with Andaluz group, he had the chance to exhibit in serveral theatre e locations around north Italy. Teatro Sociale di Sondrio, Teatro Gavazzeni (Seriate), Teatro Serassi (Alme), GiroMura events (Bergamo), Parco della Trucca (BG), Monastero di Vallate (SO), Val d'Astino (BG), Teatro dell'Aprica (SO) and work with several musicians like Stefano Lanza (flute), Maurizio Stefania (Piano), Mirko Sergi (guitarra), Andrea Blanco (palmas, castanuelas y baile), Joaho Pedro Texeira (accordeon) as well as dancers like Ambra Fassari, Annamaria Acquistapace, Sara Ghezzi, Carmen Fertorani Affini, Vivien Vavassori.
